Dear Tim:
The Frederick County Department of Planning and Development administratively approved the above -
referenced site plan on December 13, 2000. This site plan, for the construction of a 5,000 square foot
storage building to house an asphalt paver, meets all County requirements for development within the EM
(Extractive Manufacturing) Zoning District. No additional parking or landscaping are required with this
site development.
I have provided you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these approved plans to
the owner and advise the owner to keep an approved copy for their files. Furthermore, the owner should
ensure that an approved copy is maintained on the construction site throughout the development process.
Once site development has been completed, the owner should contact this office to schedule an on -site
inspection.
Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any questions or need for elaboration regarding this

Dear Tim:
I have had the opportunity to review the above -referenced site plan submitted to our department on
November 15, 2000. The following comments should be addressed and included in a revision of this
site plan. The submitted plan is also marked with these comments.
1. Within the title block, please label the box intended to list revisions.
2. On either the vicinity map or the adjoining property owners map, please label Northwestern
Pike (Route 50), Round Hill Road (Route 803), and Woodchuck Lane (Route 654).
3. The zoning and PIN of several adjoining properties are incorrectly identified. Please refer to
the mark-up plan for the correct PINs and zoning designations.
4. Please include survey coordinates for the subject parcel.
5. Please include all road information including the location, name, number, and posted speed
limit of Routes 654 and 803.
6. With regard to parking, does the proposed addition increase the number of employees? If so,
please show the existing location of the parking area and provide additional spaces if
necessary. If no new parking is proposed as a result of this site addition, please provide a
statement to that effect.
