The area below the proposed curb cut shown on sheet C-5 may be susceptible to erosion. Provide additional calculations evaluating the proposed velocity and quantity of stormwater flow draining across the slope and provide recommendations if a stabilized channel may be required down the slope. 2. Construction note 1 on sheet C-6 shall indicate that a land disturbance permit shall be obtained from Frederick County. The proposed site plan does not indicate that future buildings would appear to penetrate the airport's FAR Part 77 surface based on the information provided therefore airport operations should not be impacted by this proposal. Due to the proximity of the proposed buildings within the established flight pattern, we are requesting that any outdoor lighting at this site be of a shielded type to minimize possible light pollution on aircraft entering the pattern for Runway 32. 2. Federal regulations require FAA form 7460-1 to be submitted to the FAA for review and comment with a copy forwarded to this office for record. 3. Controlled burning must be coordinated with Airport staff no less than twenty-four hours prior to start. 4. During the construction phase, crane equipment must have an aviation obstruction flag and/or obstruction light visible during operations and must be lowered at night unless lit. Intended hours and dates of operation must be coordinated with Airport staff no less than twenty-four hours prior to start. If these conditions are met, the Winchester Regional Airport Authority poses no objections to the proposed site plan for the above referenced expansion.
