This letter is to inform you that Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved site plan
4034-97 on October 14, 1997.
This site plan depicts the location of a parking lot expansion and the re-establishment of a 50-foot landscape
buffer. This site will now contain a total of 50 parking spaces, two of which are ADA accessible. Landscaping
will be installed around the perimeter of the parking lot, and along the eastern property line. Once this
landscaping is installed, the site will be in conformance with the buffer and screening requirements of the
Frederick County Zoning Ordinance. It is important that the improvements illustrated on this site plan be fully
implemented within six months of the site plan's approval.
Attached are two copies of the approved plan. This will enable you to provide your contractor with an approved
copy, and maintain a copy for your records. Please have the contractor contact this office to schedule an on -site
inspection once all improvements are complete.

Dear John:
I have reviewed the above referenced site plan received by this office September 24, 1997. The
following comments will need to be addressed in order to proceed with approval of this site plan.
Please provide:
Site Plan Checklist
1) Signed and dated certificate of engineer.
2) Location, height, and specifications of outdoor lighting fixtures.
3) Confirmation that a boundary line adjustment has been approved and recorded with
the Frederick County Clerk of the Courts.
Sheet 2 of 2
1) Quantities in the `Plant List'. The quantity of plants listed in the `plant list' do not
total the number of plants illustrated on the site plan. Please count the plants and
update the `plant list'.
2) Sizes in the `Plant List'. The natural vegetation that was removed contained
numerous trees with calipers greater than 4 inches. Therefore, the effort to replace
the vegetation should attempt to be similar. Please revise the plant size list to reflect
minimum calipers of 2 '/2 inches, rather than the l '/2 inch as provided. This will replace
the vegetation with plantings of a closer size.
Please revise your site plan to address the above comments; the comments are also reflected on the
red -lined plan.
