RE: Site Plan Approval - Advanced Building Systems, Site Plan 037-97, Zoned: M1
This letter is to inform you that the Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved
site plan #037-97 on November 13, 1997.
This site plan enables the construction of an overhead movable crane along the southern portion of
the Butler Construction building. In addition to the crane, the parking area will be modified to
accommodate parking spaces for 102 vehicles, each space provided with double prime -and -seal,
concrete wheel stops, and delineated with surface markings. Nine -foot wide landscaped islands will
be required at the end of all parking bays, clearly separating the crane work area from the parking lot.
Enclosed are two copies of the approved plan. This will enable you to provide your contractor with
an approved copy, and maintain a copy for your records. Please have the contractor contact this
office to schedule an on -site inspection once all improvements are complete.
Please contact me if I may answer any questions regarding this letter.
Sincerely,

RE: Preliminary Site Plan Review - Advanced Building Systems/Butler Construction
Site Plan 4039-91
Dear Tim:
I have reviewed the above referenced site plan received by this office October 17, 1997. There are a few
items that should be addressed prior to site plan approval. Please provide:
1. The Magisterial District (Stonewall) on Sheet 1 Qf 2,
2. The correct Property Identification Number (PIN) on Sheet l of 2,
The PIN should read: 33-A-6A.
3. Parking lot surface materials,
4. Material to be placed on parking lot islands. Will ik be planted with grass? Since curbing
is not being utilized around the island's perimeter, I would recommend that trees be
planted on mh island. These trees would discourage people from parking their vehicles
on the grass. The trees would also clearly separate the parking area from the
manufacturing and crane areas.
Please revise your site plan to address the above comments. Once all comments have been addressed,
please resubmit five copies of the revised site plan to this department. - Upon their receipt, I will
recommend the plan for approval.
Please contact me if I may answer any questions regatding this letter.
Sincerely,
r ..
