The site plan is approved for the construction of a recreational pool facility at Windstone Subdivision (townhouses). The pool will be located in the common area referred to as "parcel A". With the proposed picnic area of "parcel 13" the pool facility meets the recreational requirements for the development. Maintenance and supervision of the facility will be transferred to the homeowners association in the future. All review agency comments and ordinance requirements have been satisfied with the approved site plan. I am providing you with several copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these copies to the appropriate representative(s). We have addressed some key issues as follows: Utilities: There will be no proposed changes or additions required for any water, sewer, or storm water utilities. There are currently stub in locations in place for these utilities, which were included as part of the approved Subdivision Design and Site Plan, and intended for this use. Parking: This recreational area will be considered a private pool within a private subdivision, for the sole use of the Windstone residents and their invited guests. This is not a public pool. Visitor parking spaces have been provided throughout the community in accordance with the zoning ordinance. All of the townhomes are within walking distance of the pool area along the provided sidewalks in the community. There are a total of (24) parking spaces (one of which is handicap accessible) provided on Lighthouse Lane, which fronts directly to the pool area, which are not specific to any of the townhomes in the community. We propose to dedicate (5) of these (24) parking spaces for pool parking.
