The Department of Planning & Development will review the application to ensure that it is complete prior to accepting it. If any portion of the application is not complete, it will be returned to the applicant(s). (1) One (1) set of approved comment sheets are required from each relevant review agency prior to final approval of a site plan. It is recommended that applicants contact the Department of Planning & Development to determine which review agencies are relevant to their site plan application. The plan meets all requirements for development in the M1 (Light Industrial) Zoning District. Primary improvements associated with this project include the placement of four silos on the property, including one silo 25 feet in height, two silos 35 feet in height, and one silo 60 feet in height. I am providing you with four copies of the approved site plan. Please forward these to the appropriate representatives. Furthermore, please advise the owner that a copy should be kept for future reference and an approved copy must be kept on the construction site throughout the development process. Price Blue Ridge Industries on Arbor Court, would like to install the silos that are currently stored in their front yard. We've prepared a plan showing the location of the concrete pad on which the four tanks will be mounted. The area is adjacent to the existing loading area at the front of the building. A portion of the existing grass and one parking space will be removed. We've noted that the new paved area is to be paved. Copies of the plans have been forwarded to the Building Inspector, Fire Marshal and County Engineer for comment. The application and minor site plan fee are enclosed. I anticipate Blue Ridge will be requesting a foundation permit at the earliest opportunity. As the new "porch" satisfies all setback requirements, we've advised that should not be a problem.
