Zoning department files indicate that our department was contacted in late July 2008 to conduct a site inspection for the FedEx site (building permit file 074-2008), the zoning inspection of the FedEx site occurred on July 31, 2008. The road was not an issue, but a number of incomplete zoning improvements remained on the FedEx site : landscaping, some parking spaces, and a dumpster enclosure, Minor issues that did not affect our ability to issue a temporary CO. There were also a number of building code issues, but again, not enough to deny the issuance of a temporary CO. So, on August 1, 2008, a temporary Certificate of Occupancy was issued for the site. The full CO was issued in January 2009, once all the issues were resolved. It looks like we already have the necessary bond and road dedication for your improvements at the Annandale Allied Industrial Park — see attached copies. I would also note that once you complete the base paving of the intersection of Frogale Court and Shady Elm Road, the transportation improvements appear appropriate to enable FedEx to seek a CO. It should be noted that FedEx still needs to address their on -site improvements prior to seeking the CO; but in terms of transportation, things appear appropriate. Ultimately, we would expect that you continue to work on the completion of all the planned road improvements to secure their completion over the next few months. -Eric Eric R.
