Please proceed to hold a public hearing on this petition by the Frederick County Planning Commission after properly advertising the same for two weeks in the Winchester Evening Star. After the Planning Commission meeting, I request that you advise me as to the recommendations of the Planning Commission with a copy of your letter going to George B. Whitacre, Clerk. Whitacre, Clerk o>y BOARD OF SUPERVISORS, FREDERICK COUNTY COURTHOUSE, WINCI-IESTER, VIRGINIA, 22601 PETITION The undersigned petitioners respectfully represent unto the Board as follows: (1) That your petitioners are the owners of two contiguous parcels of land lying on the corner of Glaize Avenue and Route 644 (Paper Mill Road). (2) That these parcels are and for some time have been used i.n connection with Schenck Foods Company, Incorporated's business. There is a commercial structure upon the back of the two lots presently containing an automotive repair shop with the front of the two lots used as an office. (3) That both of these parcels are designated R-2 (Residential) by the ordinance, although Glaize Avenue represents a single residential street surrounded by M-2 or M-1 usage, the entire area South of Glaize Avenue designated M-2 presently. (4) That the zoning change requested will merely bring the designated uses to the usage actually in the area and will not prejudice the rights of other property owners or materially deprecaite the value of surrounding properties. (5) It is respectfully requested that the parcels designated as shown on the attached plat be changed from R-2 to M-1 as provided in Article 14 of the Zoning Ordinance, and that this Petition be processed as prescribed in 14-1-3 to the Planning Commission for due report and action as provided in the ordinance.
