HomeMy WebLinkAbout031-69 Fredericktowne Company - Backfile}' 'r:, v c � � 7 (O `;, i 1 No, 31 1 15, 278 BEFORE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF FREDERICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA: SSCD/csm 7/9/69 APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL EXCEPTION OR AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORDINANCE To The Honorable Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia: The undersigned, Fredericktowne Company, a Virginia corporation, respectfully petitions the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission and/or Zoning Administrator as follows: I. That the Petitioner is the owner of several tracts of land situate in the Opequon Magisterial District, Frederick County, Virginia, fronting on the West and East sides of Virginia Route No. 647, containing approximately 200 acres, more or less, on the East side and approximately 9 acres and 5 lots on the West side, being shown on the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. These tracts of land were acquired by said Petitioner by the following deeds: a. From T. G. Adams, et ux, dated March 31, 1969, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Frederick County .in Deed Book 51 at page 603. b. From George A. Cornwell, et ux, dated April 1, 1969, orded in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 351 at page 630. c . From Mildred V. Largent, et vir, dated June 17, 1969, ecorded in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 354 at page 370 , as nstrument No. 1, 272. d. From Frank M. Funk, et ux, dated May 16, 1969, recorded in he aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 353 at page 151. e. From B. H. Beaver by two deeds dated June 2, 1969, recorded n the aforesaid Clerk's Office in Deed Book 353 at page 554 and in the me Deed Book at page 556 2. That the Petitioner believes that the aforesaid tracts of land are presently zoned for agricultural purposes. 3. Your Petitioner requests that the parcels designated (and described on the attached Plat) be changed from agricultural to R-2 and to B-2 as shown by the solid coloration and hatched lines, respectively. WHEREFORE, your Petitioner respectfully applies for a variance from or an amendment to the existing Zoning Ordinances which would remove these parcels of land from restrictions for agricultural use only and permitting use of the character recited above.
