MABRY DIRECTOR OF PLANNING IN REPLY PLEASE REFER TO 1550 Commerce Street Winchester, VA 22601 Re: Winchester T.V. Cable Proposed Street, .20 Mi. N. N.C.L. Winchester Rt. 522 Frederick County We estimate the cost of constructing the first phase of the street, from Route 522, to serve the proposed office building of Winchester T.V. Cable Com- pany, a distance of approximately six hundred feet (600'), to be twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000,),exclusive of the fill required up to the level of the base stone. This estimate is based on eight inches of crushed aggregate base, twenty-two feet in width, and sufficient earth work for the shoulders and ditches. If this proposed street is intended for future inclusion in the Secondary Highway System, we need complete plans for a review by our design section. We did not attempt to make an estimate of the cost of the fill for this street as we have been advised the owner expects to receive excess material from other projects now under way. If there are any questions, please advise. Sincerely yours, f f. W. H. Bushman Resident Engineer S / By: R. C. Ki Asst. Res d t Engineer RCK/jag \ TRANSPORTATION - AMERICA'S LIFELINES . 1 y. y. !
