MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Shawnee
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: Agricultural and vacant land zoned M-1 (Industrial
Limited); airport land across Bufflick Road.
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: Industrial Park
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
VA Dept. of Highways & Transportation - No objection to rezoning.
Health Department - No objection as long as property is served by central
sewer prior to any construction or occupancy. Central water is also
recommended prior to any construction or occupancy.
Greenwood Fire Company - We do not feel this is feasible from the fire
protection standpoint until sewer and water are available.
Inspections Department - No comments at this time.
Planning and Zoning - This land is surrounded on three sides by land zoned
M-1 and owned by Mr. Adams. This represents a minor addition to an existing
M-1 area.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval.

Beginning atan iron pin (set) in the South boundary line
of Bufflick Road (said pin can be located by measuring the following
two courses from an iron pin (found) at the Northeast corner of the

ft.); thence with the South boundary line of the Bufflick Road

Re: Rezoning Petition of C. Douglas Adams for 6.224-Acre tract
Dear Bob:
I am enclosing an Application for Rezoning of Mr. and Mrs. Adams
for the 6.224-Acre tract which is surrounded by the Adams' other
property which has already been rezoned. Mr. and Mrs. Adams
recently acquired title to this parcel.
This will confirm information which we received from your office
that it will not be necessary for us to obtain comments from the
Health Department or the Highway Department for this tract since
it is totally surrounded by the Adams' other property for -which
those departments submitted comments in the previous rezoning.
If my understanding in this respect is not correct, please let
me know.
It is my understanding that this matter will be placed on the
Planning Commission's agenda for November 5, 1986, and on the
Board of Supervisors' agenda for November 12, 1986. If my under-
standing in this respect is not correct, please let me know.
I am enclosing our check in the amount of $106.00 for the appli-
cation fee for this rezoning.
I would appreciate your office notifying me as soon as the sign
for the property is ready so that I can have it picked up and
posted on the property.

WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the sum
of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and other good and valuable considera-
tion, the receipt of all of which is hereby acknowledged, the
party of the first part does hereby grant, bargain, sell and

and survey made by H. Bruce Edens, C.L.S.,
dated September 2, 1975, attached to and by
reference made a part of the deed whereby
the party of the first part acquired this
property from Thomas M. Dickinson, Jr.,
Special Commissioner, said deed dated
January 23, 1976 and recorded in the Office
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Frederick County, Virginia, in Deed Book 454
at Page 8.
Reference is here made to the aforesaid instruments and
the attachments and the references therein contained for a
further and more particular description of the property hereby
conveyed.
This conveyance is made subject to all duly recorded
and enforceable restrictions, easements and rights of way.

that he has done no act to encumber said property; that he will
execute such further assurances of title to said property as may
