Dear Mr. Claytor:
This is to advise of an on site inspection at your recently completed child
day care facility at the above referenced location. It appears the upgraded
entrance will be sufficient to handle the traffic which will be generated by
the facility.
No additional measures or barriers between the day care center and convenience
store parking lots will be required at this time.
Should the business expand in the future, this Department reserves the right
to re-evaluate the situation and upgrading of the entrance may be required.
Should you have any questions concerning the above, do not hesitate to call.

LOCATION: Along the northwest corner of the intersection of Williamson Road
(Route 1213) and Senseny Road (State Route 657)
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Shawnee
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: Residential and vacant land use, and RP
(Residential Performance) and A-2 (Agricultural General) zoning
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: Steel building to be used as a retail store
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Transportation Department - The existing commercial entrances fronting
Senseny Road, Route 657, meet our minimum requirements in width, however, the
entrance on the west side will require some pavement repair. The island
between the aforementioned entrances will require standards CG-2 curb as
shown on the attached site plan and marked in red.
Sanitation Authority - (1) Sewer connection to be downstream of cleanout.
(2) No water connection shown.
Greenwood Fire Company - No objection.
Inspections Department - Will comment on the use group and sections of the
BOCA Basic National Building Code at the time of plans review.
Planning and Zoning - No objection. This proposed use is acceptable in the
B-1 (Neighborhood Business) zoning district. All planning, zoning, site
planning, and parking standards have been met.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approved.

Mr. Robert H. Claytor has submitted a site plan for business uses in a B-1 zoning
district located on the north side of Senseny Road. This site plan shows a 4000

regulations.
The staff would like the Planning Commission's opinion to help determine if the
4000 square foot structure is acceptable as intended in the B-1 zone.
