Q, Box 601 9 COURT SQUARE WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA 22601 In regards to your building permit application, sawmills are allowed With a conditional use permit in'the A-2 zoning district in which you are located. Since your sawmill has been in operation for some time and would qualify as a lawful nonconforming use, you may expand up to fifty percent (500) of the square footage of your present structures before you need to get a conditional use permit. I can foresee no problem with zoning approval of your proposed maintenance shop, however, before your permit can be released, it will be necessary for you to submit a scaled site plan. The site plan can be prepared by you and must have your signature. It should show: your property, existing and proposed structures (which should be labeled as to use), measurements of all structures and measurements of all structures to all property lines. Since your sawmill may be located on several distinct properties, please indicate these property lines. If you require any assistance, please call this office.
