Dear Langdon, I will be appearing before the Frederick County Planning Commission at its next meeting, February 21, 1979 regarding the move of the Northwestern Workshop, Inc. to our proposed new location on Smithfield Avenue Extended, between the Brick Kiln property and that owned by the Frederick County School Board. I have talked with Albert Robinson of Oil Heat and Burner Service, and with Melton Wright about maintaining the road leading to our property. Mr. Wright states he cannot commit the School Board until they have a meeting, but Mr. Robinson has assured me that they will cooperate with us in maintaining Smithfield Avenue Extended. In the event neither of the other parties are able to participate, be assured that the Northwestern Workshop will maintain the road leading into its property. NORTHWESTERN WORKSHOP, INC. Description: 1 Building — 21,000 Sq. Ft. on 6.072 acre site — disturbed area of 126,000 Sq. Ft. Dates of Construction: Project will start upon approval of plans and be completed within 180 days. Soil Data: The site is limestone rock. Erosion Control Program: Effective erosion and sedimentation control practices will be applied prior to or concurrent with construction. Sedimentation Control: Control will be achieved by use of baled straw sedimentation. SEDIMENTATION AND EROSION CONTROL PLAN NOTES Disturbed areas not to receive paving or building will be topsoiled and reseeded within 30 days of disturbance. All sanitary and storm sewer lines will be reseeded within 15 days after backfill. All baled straw sedimentation barriers shall be placed prior to construction as needed. Any disturbed area not paved , sodded or built upon by October 1 1979 is to be seeded on that date with temporary vegetation and mulched.
