LOCATION: East side of Route 11 North, north of Route 761.
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Stonewall
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: Industrial, open, and residential land use and A-2
(Agricultural General) zoning.
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: 50' X 130' warehouse
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Highway Department - Everything appears satisfactory with the exception that
we would require a minimum of eight inches of crushed stone, Type 21-A, and a
minimum of two inches of S-5 asphalt in the entrance way from the edge of the
pavement to the right-ot-way line. A permit must be applied for and approved
before doing any work on the State's right-of-way.
Health Department - No objection.
Clearbrook Fire Company - Site plan approved.
Inspections Department - Proposed warehouse to be designed and built in
accordance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and applicable
referenced standards for the intended use.
Planning and Zoning - The proposed use of warehousing is appropriate for the
M-1 Zoning District. All setback and dimensional requirements have been met.
The proposed fire hydrant needs to be relocated or an additional hydrant
needs to be added to meet the 300' minimum distance to structures. Prime and
seal surface needs to be extended to serve all employee parking and access
areas. Run-off calculations and erosion control features need to be shown on
this plan.

STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval, with the following changes:
1. All VDH&T requirements are shown on the plan.
2. Fire hydrant(s) are located so as to meet County Code minimums (300' to all
structures).
3. Prime and seal parking/access area be extended to service all parking areas.
4. Appropriate erosion control plan features and run-off calculations need to be
submitted for staff review.

must show extension of water line to provide fire protection. Proposed fire
hydrant shown on plan does not meet County code with regards to access.

The Frederick County Board of Supervisors, meeting in
Regular Session on January 1Q, 1979, tabled your request for
site plan approval for "Allied Furniture" located on U. S.
Route 1.1 North in the Stonewall Magisterial District in order
that you might appear before the Board to discuss said request.
You are the notified that the next regularly
scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors has been set
for Wednesday, January 24, 1979, at 7:00 P.M. in the Board
