Box 601 9 COURT SQUARE WINCHESTER, VIRGINIA 22601 p b rb/V 0�s Upon review of the Planning Commission's recent approval of your site plan, we felt that it was necessary to contact both you and Mr. Quarles to inform you what will be required before the gas facilities can be approved and placed into operation. Before a final certificate of inspection or occupancy can be issued by the Building Department, all building requirements and site plan requirements must be inspected and approved. These requirements are just briefly outlined below to help you and your contractor in finalizing your project and also to help you avoid any unneccesary delays: 1. Building Requirements A) A building permit will be necessary for the installation of the gas tanks and pump lines. These will have to be inspected and approved as per code. B) An electrical permit will be necessary for all electrical fixtures and lines, including any signs. These also need to be inspected and approved. C) A sign permit will be required for each sign installed. All need to be inspected and approved. A final inspection and approval of the gas pumping facilities by the Building Department will require that the site plan requirements, as approved by the Planning Commission, are complete and in place. 2. Site Plan Requirements A) Paving, curbs, parking spaces, and parking space stripes, and other paving stripes must be in place. B) All traffic separation controls must be in place and shown on the site plan. 703/662-4532 Page 2 OL,� Horton Site Plan tzv 01� C) The pedestrian walkway and cross walk facilities must be in place. D) This office must be assured that the screening requirements, as discussed by the Planning Commission, will be shown on the site plan and will be put into place as soon as is feasibly possible. This will require a letter of agreement between this office and yourself. E) Any changes to the site plan should be shown and approved by this office. Again, the purpose of this letter is to assist you in meeting the requirements of the County Code and the BOCA Building Code. These are only briefly outlined above for your information and should be considered only in this manner.
