RE: Leon B. Zeiger, Application for Rezoning
Dear John:
I am enclosing herewith the original and two (2) copies of
an application for rezoning approximately seventy (70) acres
in Back Creek District belonging to Mr. Leon B. Zeiger.
Attached to the application is a plat showing the location of
Mr. Zeiger's property.
Also enclosed is a check drawn on my Office Account in the
amount of Eighty Dollars (t80.00) for the application fee.
I understand that the next Planning Commission meeting will
be held on Thursday, April 19, 1973, and I would very much
appreciate your advertising Mr. Zeiger's application so that
his application may be heard at the meeting on April 19th.
I believe the advertisement will have to be in the hands of
someone at the newspaper by Wednesday morning, April 4th.

Dear Nor. Berg:
Concerning the approximately 69 acrQs which I own in Frederick
County, and which the board of Supervisors recently approved
for rezoning to A-2, please be informed that I will not erect
or construct mobile homes on any of the lots of said property.
A master plan will be submitted to you shortly which I hope
will be expeditiously approved to preclude the possibility of
spiraling costs which may affect my intention of erecting modular
housing at a price consistent with the needs and desires of a
large segment of the Winchester community.
As described by fir. Webber, Building Inspector, at the rezoning
hearing, these homes will be modular in type and in many respects
surpass the building requirements of the cornty.
You will recall +trip+ at the rezoning hearin.g;, I submitted a
plat showing six lots which represents Section I of the proposed
sub division. I am most anxious to get started immediately with
the erection of modular housing on these six lots. I urgently
seek cooperation to immediately permit me to start construction
thereon.
