building with parking at the intersection of Routes 522 and 679 in the Gainesboro
Magisterial District.

LOCATION: Intersection of Routes 522 and 679.
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Gainesboro
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: M-2 (Industrial General) zoned land which contains
the Frederick County Bus Garage.
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: 80' X 100' building with parking.
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Inspections Department - Proposed building shall be designed and built in
accordance with the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code and applicable
referenced standards for mercantile use. Footings for pre-engineered metal
buildings shall be designed by a Virginia registered architect or engineer.
Highway Department - A commercial entrance permit must be applied for and
approved prior to opening a business.
Health Department - No objections.
Round Hill Fire Company - No comment.
Planning and Zoning - No objections. All applicable standards have been
met.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval.

Dear Joe:
This is in response to the site plan you submitted last week for the proposed
entrances onto the above referenced routes. We have reviewed this and have the
following comments:
1. It is recommended the entrance onto Route 522 be a minimum of 50' with a 25'
radius on each entrance way.
2. It is noted you propose 18" pipe under the proposed entrance onto Route 522.
With the two 18" pipe, it is felt the minimum si-Ae pipe we could allow would be
30".
3. It is our recommendation that the entrance onto Route 679 be constructed in
accordance with the attached drawing marked in yellow whereby you would be
entering on a 900 with 25' radii on each side of the entrance.
When this revisions have been made, I will need four copies of the site plan to
attach to the permit application.

We recommend a minimum 50' entrance on Route 679 and on both
entrance we would require a minimum 25' radius. Also flared
end section will be required under the proposed entrance on Route 522.
