As requested we have reviewed the above referenced site plans dated January 29, 1990.
Our recormiendations may be found on the attached plans marked in red and as follows.
1. The existing substandard entrance is to be removed and replaced with a new standard
commercial entrance. The entrance is to be a minimum 50' in width with
Standard CG-6 Curb & Guttering, 10' offsets from the edge of pavement to the face of
gutter pan, and 30' tapers.
2. The existing 18" C.M.P. is to be replaced with a 18" R.C.P. with Standard ES-1 End
Sections as noted.
3. A Standard DI-3B with 4' length is to be installed in the curb and gutter section as
noted.
4. The existing paved flumes are to be either removed or replaced as noted.
5. Standard EC-1 Type B is to be placed as noted.
6. A half typical section of the entrance detailing a pavement design of 8" of CR Type
21-A Base Stone, 3" Type B-3 Bituminous Concrete and 2" of Type S-5 or S-10
Bituminous Concrete is to be incorporated into the plans.
7. The enclosed specifications are also to be included in the plans.
Please revise and resubmit four (4) copies for final approval. Should any changes be
deemed necessary please design them to meet or exceed the above recommendations.
