RE: Winchester Woodworking Corporation - Follow-up
Dear Mr. Frogale:
As a follow-up to our recent discussions and your correspondence requesting
industrial access funding to serve your planned facility on Route 728 or
Victory Lane, I have the following comments:
First, as we discussed, we have provided house numbers to the properties
along Victory Lane, including yours. I would suspect that the U.S. Post
Office will begin to implement these as soon as is practical for them to do
so. Additionally we have provided, through Mr. George Romine's office,
maps of the general vicinity where your site is located showing both sewer
and water lines. If you have any further questions about the locations of
utility lines, I would suggest that you contact Mr. Wellington Jones, the
Director -Engineer of the Frederick County Sanitation Authority. His phone
number is 665-6590.
As I am sure you are aware, your site plan for Planning Commission approval
has been reviewed and is scheduled for Planning Commission action
Wednesday, November 4, 1987. Overall, your plans meet the County Site
Planning Development Standards. I should note that prior to construction
of any new structures on your site, approved building permits will be
needed.
We are in receipt of your request for industrial access funding and have
forwarded your request to the Virginia Department of Transportation for
their comments. It is my understanding that the VDOT will provide comments
on your request by mid -November so that this matter can be taken up by our
Transportation Committee on November 30, 1987. Once this information is
acted on by the Transportation Committee, it will be forwarded to the Board
of Supervisors.
If you have any questions regarding your request for industrial access or
the other items discussed above, please feel free to contact this office.
Sincerely,
epre, M. Gy Pis'
