Gentlemen:
This letter certifies that the above -referenced Varco-Pruden
Building System has been designed for the following basic loads:
1. Building dead load (plus 3 psf additional dead load)
2. 30 psf live load
3. 20 psf wind load
4. Additional dead load plus 6 psf at sprinkler system area
(total of 9 psf)
Load applications and combinations are based upon The BOCA Basic
National Building Code, 1984 edition with 1986 revisions. Designs
are in accordance with Varco-Pruden standard design practices,
which have been developed based upon nationally recognized
standards and specifications of organizations such as American
Institute of Steel Construction, American Iron and Steel Institute,
American Welding Society and the Metal Building Manufacturers
Association, as applicable to the design of low-rise steel
structures.
This certification does not apply to the design of the building
foundation, or to other on -site structures or components supplied
by others, or to unauthorized modifications to framing systems
provided by Varco-Pruden. Furthermore, it is understood that
erection of components furnished by Varco-Pruden will be in strict
compliance with pertinent erection documents furnished by Varco-
Pruden.
