This letter is to confirm the action of the Frederick County
Planning Commission at their meeting of April 15, 1987.
Approval of Site Plan #016-87, of Bonanza Family Restaurant, for
a 19'6"x45' restaurant addition. This property is located at
Delco Plaza Shopping Center, on Route 50 East,"in the Shawnee
Magisterial District.

LOCATION: Delco Plaza Shopping Center, Route 50 East
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Shawnee
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: Commercial Land Use and B-2 (Business General)
Zoning.
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: A 19'6" X 45' restaurant addition
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Highway Department - No objection
Sanitation Authority - No objection
Greenwood Fire Company - No objection
Inspections Department - Proposed addition to be in compliance with all
applicable building codes.
Planning and Zoning - A variance has been approved for the addition allowing
the front setback to be reduced from 35' to 25'. All applicable site plan
and zoning standards have been met. Parking is provided on the Bonanza site
and Delco Plaza parking lot. Since the addition will not remove any existing
parking spaces and since the addition is only minor, the staff has no
objection. A total of 67 spaces is required for this use. 21 are provided
beside the building while the remaining 46 are provided behind the building.
This building is part of the Delco site.
