This letter is to confirm the Frederick County Planning Commission's
action at their meeting of September 5, 1984:
Approval of Site Plan #024-84 of Henry Apartments to construct 54
garden apartment units in nine buildings with required parking and
recreational facilities located adjacent to Senseny Heights
Subdivision on Senseny Road in the Shawnee Magisterial District.

LOCATION: Adjacent to Senseny Heights Subdivision on Senseny Road
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Shawnee
ADJACENT LAND USE AND ZONING: Residential, open space,
institutional, and commercial land use and commercial and residential
zoning.
PROPOSED USE AND IMPROVEMENTS: Construct 54 garden apartment units
in nine buildings with required parking and recreation facilities.
REVIEW EVALUATIONS:
Virginia Dept. of Highways and Transportation - Satisfactory,
minor drainage design changes may be necessary on final site
plan.
City of Winchester - Detail of Master Meter and Vault must be
revised as per marked plans. Construction details needed prior
to installation. Water easement for fire hydrant and line
extension contract must be executed. See plans.
Inspections - All structures must be built in compliance with
the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code.
Planning and Zoning - Satisfactory, with additions required by
City.

This letter is to confirm our recent discussion regarding the use
of a pool and accessory bath house/office to meet :the recreational
requirements of the RP, Residential -Performance Zoning District.
Again, this office has no objection to the substitution of a pool
for the recreational items suggested in the Frederick County Zoning
Code. It is o u r feeling that a pool would greatly benefit your
development and meet all zoning recreational standards. I should
note that the pool is for the use of the residents of your develop-
ment and not to be used in a commercial fashion.

SWIMMING POOL AT EASTRIDGE; I WOULD LIKE THIS LETTER TO BE A FORMAL
REQUEST TO APPLY FOR FEDERICK COUNTY APPROVAL. MY PLAN IS TO SELL
ME"PERSHIPS TO THE LOCAL RESIDENTS TO HELP SUPLIMENT THE EXPENSE OF THE
CONSTRUCTION COSTS. DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE APPROVAL TAKES TIME I AGREE
TO BUILD A POOL OR A PLAYGROUND IN THE SPRING DEPENDING ON APPROVAL.
