action at their meeting of July 18, 1984:
Approval of Site Plan #017-84 of Roadway Express for a truck terminal
and accessory uses on Lenoir Drive, off Route 661, in the Stonewall
Magisterial District.

Clearbrook Fire Companv - No comment
Highway Department - Satisfactory, with minor amendments as
noted on marked plans which will be submitted to applicant.
Sanitation Authority - No comment.
Planning and Zoning - The site plan for this property is for an
area to be _leased by Roadway Express from Mr. Gilpin and
therefore, no subdivision of the property has taken place. The
Planning Commission, therefore, will not have the opportunity
to review a final subdivision plat for this particular parcel.
The staff has informed Mr. Gilpin and Roadway Express, however,
that occupancy of this structure will be dependent on the total
completion of all required roadway, sewer, and water
facilities.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval.

The proposed entrance design appears satisfactory. Howeuer, the curbing should
be connected between the entrances with a paved down f, ume wi*b erosion contro l
stone at the bottom of the flume. �=
This section of the roadway is not in the Secondary System to date. Howevers
this would be required when the street is accepted into the Secondary System.

Subject: Cash Bond for Road Maintenance
Date: January 14, 1985
Attached you will find a check for $300.00 from the Lenoir City
Company of Virginia. This money has been required as a road
maintenance bond for that portion of road which directly fronts the
Roadway Express Site Plan. The purpose of the bond is to ensure that
the section of road is maintained to a level that would ensure its
acceptability to VDH&T when there are two additional users of the
road. Please deposit this in the appropriate account. Release of the
bond should only be done after approval by this department.
