The plans are tieing returned in that insufficient detail has been furnished to allow us to complete the review, The following must he addressed: 1. In accordance with Section 2.10.01 of the Sewerage Regulations, the State t4ater Control Board and this Department waive the review of gravity sewage collection systems with a design capacity to serve less than 40b persons. Therefore, unless the Board determines that review of the sewerage portion of this project is necessary, a formal review will not he carried out. 2. Review of the waterline extension portion of the project will be required. As such, complete specifications detailing water and sewer line separation, and water line installation, disinfection, testing, etc. will he required. 3. Vhere %,ill water he obtained for the project? Verification that adequate pressure for all proposed connections will be provided is required. 4. The plans show no existing water service, i.e., the proposed!t�aterline is not shown connected to an existing service line. The proposed line is shown as 2-inch. Please refer to Section 12.02.01a of the 14aterworks Regulations which limits the length of run of 2-inch waterline to 300 feet. The minimum pipe size should be 4--inch. Plans and specifications, as prepared by Dove and Associates, Inc., Winchester, Virginia, for the water line extensions to serve the Arcadia Mobile Park located in Frederick County, have been reviewed by this Department. The plans, bearing a received date of June 8, 1987, include sheets 1 of 2 through 2 of 2 and are entitled "Water Line Layout Addition to Arcadia Mobile Park, Inc., Stonewall District, Frederick County, Virginia." The specifications bearing a received date of May 19, 1987 are entitled "Technical Specification for Purchase and Installation of Water Mains, Arcadia Mobile Home Park, Frederick County, Virginia." In accordance with Section 3.17 of the Commonwealth of Virginia Waterworks Regulations, this letter is to advise that these plans and specifications are technically adequate and are approved by this Office. One copy each of the plans and specifications have been stamped approved and are enclosed. In accordance with Section 3.14.01 of the Waterworks Regulations, a construction permit is not required for waterline extensions; therefore, a construction per- mit will not be issued.
