The Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved Site Plan #017-93
of Mountain View Church of Christ on June 28, 1993. The approved site plan calls for the
installation of a mobile classroom that will be 660 square feet, the construction of a four (4)
foot wide wooden ramp in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the
construction of a twenty (20) foot wide fire lane that will be compacted, seeded, and marked
with appropriate fire lane signs. Enclosed are two copies of the approved site plan. This
will allow you to provide a copy to the contractor, and keep a copy for your records.
Please contact this office to schedule an on -site inspection once all improvements are
complete. Please contact me if I may answer any questions regarding this letter.

GENERAL COMMENTS
It appears that the comments made by the Fire Marshal, and the Building Official have
been adequately addressed. The applicant is interested in creating a fire lane that has the
compacted stone base and a.grass surface. This is to prevent injury for children playing in
-that area. I believe that the Fire Marshal has permitted that type of design in the past,

rovided that the fire lane is adequately marked with fire lane signage. If the applicant
