Dear Mr. Thomas:
The Frederick County Planning Department administratively approved Site Plan #041-93
of Timber Ridge Residential Treatment Center on January 14, 1994. The approved site
plan calls for the construction of a dormitory building, the extension of a sidewalk that is
four feet in width, the installation of underground water, sewer, electric and telephone
service, the addition of a gravel fire lane that is twenty feet in width and all appropriate
erosion and sedimentation control measures.
I have provided you with two copies of the final site plan. This will enable you to provide
the contractor with a copy and keep a copy for your records. Please contact me if I may

RE: Timber Ridge Dormitory Preliminary Site Plan Review
Dear Keith:
I have reviewed the above referenced plan submitted by your office. The following items
need to be incorporated on the final site plan:
1) Please provide a signature on the surveyor's seal.
2) Please provide the use and zoning of all adjoining properties.
3) Please provide the location of any proposed signs, outdoor lighting fixtures, outdoor
storage areas, or outdoor trash receptacles.
4) Please change the name of Route 699 to New Hope Road.
5) Please provide the location of all easements. Item #3 under the notes section states
that electric and telephone service will be supplied to the building. Also, water and
sewer lines will be provided as well.
I have enclosed a copy of my plan review for your use. Please address all comments
specified in this letter. Our department will need the site plan application, five copies of
the final site plan, all approved review agency comments and the $300.00 review fee. Once
this information is received, we will create a file for this project and place it on the Planning
Commission's bimonthly report.
