Shreve 3015 Williams Drive Fairfax, VA 22031 RE: Revised Site Plan For McDonalds Restaurant Located On Route 647 Dear Mr. Shreve: Mr. Robert W. Nichols of Lee Builders provided our department with a revised site plan for the above referenced location. The proposed improvements depicted on this site plan call for the installation of a cash booth and the extension of a concrete pad. Our department approved a similar site plan for this location on July 23, 1990. The revised site plan submitted by Mr. Nichols reduces the size of the cash booth; therefore, our department has administratively approved this new proposal. It is my understanding that Mr. Nichols plans to improve the McDonalds restaurant located on Route 11 North as well. This proposal calls for the addition of a play area in front of the restaurant, as well as a new storage room and improvements to the drive -through area. These improvements will require the submission of a revised site plan which must be approved by Frederick County prior to construction. Mr. Nichols is aware of this requirement and will be providing Frederick County with all necessary information. Hopefully, this letter explains the requirements associated with these improvements.
