Our recournendations may be found on the attached plans marked in red and as follows: 1. The proposed cormercial entrance should be constructed with a 10' offset from the edge of the Imboden Drive pavement to the face of the curb and standard 3:1 or 30' asphalt tapers included. The entrance pavement should slope away from the roadway pavement at a rate of 3/4" per foot as noted. 2. We have no objections to the installation of the waterline across Imboden Drive or the fire hydrant at the right-of-way line. However, the lines size and depth are to be included on the site plan. The encasement on the north side of the roadway should be extended past the ditch lines as noted. Please be advised this street is currently not in the State's Secondary Road System thus we cannot require the waterline to be installed by standard push, jack or bore methods. However, as I am sure you are aware our subdivision policy prohibits the acceptance of subdivision streets into the system with pavement "patches". Therefore, please advise the subdivision developer prior to acceptance of the street a plant rtix overlay may be required. Please revise and resubmit three (3) copies for final approval. On Thursday, July 19, 1990, I met with the owner, builder and site design engineers at the site. We discussed the differences found on the site plan as compared to actual conditions. The existing hydrant at the cul-de-sac on Imboden Drive does lie within 300' of the furthest point of the proposed building thus complying with Chapter 10. Also, there is nothing in the fire or building codes that would require the fire lane around the entire circumference of the building.
