Based on the results of the stormwater analysis, it appears that on site detention will not be required. However, we recommend that the existing channel and immediate downstream culvert be evaluated for adequacy. We also recommend that the limits of the 100 'year storm be evaluated to determine the potential impact on the lower floor level. 2. Specify a pavement section and provide a typical curb detail (i.e., concrete or asphalt). 3. Provide a typical concrete flume detail. Also, indicate the class of rip -rap required. 4. The site plan indicates a lower floor elevation of 746.47 which is approximately three (3) feet below the exterior concrete sidewalk. This design will require steps and limit the access to handicap persons. We suggest that Dr. Gromling be informed of this restriction in the event that he plans to utilize this space as rental property. Our recommendations may be found on the enclosed plans marked in red and as follows: 1. The existing entrance appears adequate for the proposed on site improvements. However, it should be resurfaced with a minimum 1.5" Asphalt Concrete Type SM-2A. 2. To prevent any further erosion on the southern end of the entrance the existing 15" C.M.P. culvert should be extended approximately 4' and the end mitered. Please revise and resubmit four (4) copies for final approval. Should any changes be deemed necessary, please design them to meet or exceed the above recommendations.
