HomeMy WebLinkAbout23-22 CommentsSee attached word doc. 5/25/2022NO 4/6/2022 5/26/2022 5/26/2022 COUNTY OF FREDERICK INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES & GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS OFFICE (540) 665-5614 107 North Kent Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601-5039 June 23, 2022 Dear Summit Design and Engineering Services, The GIS comments for the Bartonsville Solar Project per review of the plans are as follows: • No new road names are required at this point. • Addresses will be assigned at any entrance/gate that comes out to a named county road. • Per review of the plans, the following addresses are slated to be demolished and will then be removed from GIS as well: o 296 Carrollton Dr o 846 Strode McLeod Ln • The county roads named Sheffield Pl, Devon Dr, Carrolton Dr, Druid Hill Pl, Guilford Ct, and Nolan Ct were never built. They will be removed from our GIS database. • Strode Mcleod Ln will stay the same up until the boundary of parcel 74-A-18B to accommodate access to remaining structures. The section of Strode McLeod Ln that runs south starting at parcel 18A through where the road intersects with Family Dr will be removed from GIS. Please be advised that a draft SWM/BMP maintenance agreement and receipt of nutrient credit purchase (7.6 lbs) will be required with the land disturbance application (889.7 acres disturbed). Based off of the review of the drawings, the site plan is approved by our office. Please ensure that all applicable agencies have the most recent set of approved drawings. We offer the following general comments: Our review and comments are general in nature. Should details be overlooked during plan review or conditions in the field exist such that additional measures are warranted, such measures shall be completed to the satisfaction of the department. Materials used and methods of construction shall adhere to the current observed VDOT Road and Bridge Specifications, Road and Bridge Standards, Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and Land Use Permit Special Provisions. Any construction related changes to the approved plan must come through the design engineer to VDOT for approval. Please allow a minimum of 5 business days for VDOT review. A Land Use Permit shall be obtained before any work is performed on the State’s right- of-way. The permit is issued by this office and may require application fees, the salary & expenses of a State assigned inspector, and surety bond coverage.
