Summary of Services Performed (field test data, locations, elevations & depths are estimates) & Individuals Contacted.
The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe the excavation of unsuitable fill soils in the
building pad area, including organic and soft soils.
Please see the attachments.
Areas with topsoil, large rock, wet and saturated soils, or soft and yielding existing fill areas were over-
excavated to natural ground.
Once this excavation was complete, the exposed areas were checked and found to be free of organic
materials, large free boulders, and debris.
The building pad area was proof-rolled using a fully loaded dump truck. The area appeared to be firm and
stable with no visible signs of pumping or rutting observed, except as noted.
One area at the low side of a rock ledge was observed to have a suspect depression next to the rock
ledge. This area was excavated and additional 2 feet to verify the depression was not a sinkhole throat.
Upon excavation , it appeared that the depression was related to previous excavation work and removal of
a large boulder, and was not considered a sinkhole feature.
