Thanks for calling me back and please note that I discussed your comment with Kurt and we have modified the MDP
Typical Section Sheet to provide for a 50' R/W for the Class li Streets as requested. I have attached the revised sheet for
your information and would ask that you provide me with your approval comment today if possible. Kurt also advised
that we will be forwarding Tim an advance design plan set this Friday so he can begin his review and that we will be
following up with Tim next week to schedule the 30% design plan review meeting. Please contact me if you need
anything else.

A VDOT review has been performed on the Snowden Bridge Revised Master Development Pian — Revision #6,
as prepared by Greenway Engineering, Inc. and submitted to this VDOT office on November 14, 2018. VDOT
has the following comments:
1. Revise the following Note on Sheets 6 &7, "The proposed Subdivision Streets per this MDP will be
designed per the VDOT Subdivision Street Requirements Geometric Design Standards for Residential
and Mixed Use Subdivision Streets (GS-SSAR)" Revise Note to end with (GS -SSR) rather than (GS-
SSAR).
2. Sheet 7 — On Public Street Class II Typical Section, remove "(24' MIN)" dimension and "(45' MIN)"
dimension from FOC to FOC and RW respectively to comply with GS -SSR.
3. Sheet 7 — Remove the words "one Point of Access and" from both ** Notes shown on this sheet.
4. Sheet 7 — On Public Street Class III Typical Section, remove "(26' MIN)" dimension and "(50' MIN)"
dimension from FOC to FOC and RW respectively to comply with GS -SSR.
5. Identify which streets are public verses private and also show ADT on each street segment.
6. Underground utilities may be placed in the right-of-way, however they should be located outside of
the travel lanes and desirably beyond the pavement.

Below are Parks and Recreation Comments for the Snowden Bridge IViDP Revision #6:
I. Sheet 3 shows field allocations for Land Bay II (Park) that are no longer relevant. Please either remove or update
the field allocation info from the MDP.
2. P&R recommends a minimum 8' width for the Linear Park Trail
3. P&R recommends "wood mulch" be removed from the Pedestrian Trail detail and "Stone Dust" remain as the
specification.
