RE: APPEAL #07-10, HISTORIC JORDAN SPRINGS
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1160 JORDAN SPRINGS ROAD
PROPERTY IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 44-A-294 AND 44 -A -294A
STONEWALL MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT.
Dear Mr. Pettler:
This letter is to confirm that the above -referenced appeal to the Board of Zoning Appeals was
decided at their meeting on November 15, 2010. The applicants appealed the decision of the
Zoning Administrator pertaining to the proffered uses on this property, as well as violations
committed under Sections 165-101.07D and 165-102.06 of the Frederick County Zoning
Ordinance. The Board of Zoning Appeals sustained the appeal, allowing Historic Jordan Springs
to continue certain activities, such as weddings, dinners and other special events, as permitted
uses without revising proffers associated with the approved Rezoning #10-0l,and allowing these
same activities to take place in a "public building" not owned or occupied by a government
entity.
If you have any questions regarding this action, please feel free to call this office.
Sincerely,
l,.
Mark R. Cheran
