Kent Street Winchester, VA 22601 RE: Building Permit #7036-2010 241 Garber Lane Property Identification Number: 64 -A -5C Dear Mr. Cheran, Timothy M. Mayfield mayfield@hanison-johnston.com I write to confirm our conversation of July 14, 2011 wherein it was agreed that based upon your Department's tentative approval of the improvements to the structure at 241 Garber Lane proposed by Carter+Burton Architecture, the above referenced appeal of the denial of a permit for construction of a free-standing sign is hereby withdrawn. As we discussed, final approval of a permit to allow the proposed modifications to the building to be constructed is contingent upon further review of the site by your department, and may include the requirement that a formal site plan be submitted by my client and approved. It is my hope that these improvements to the building, in compliance with Frederick County and State Codes, can be approved and built in a timely manner, bringing a swift conclusion to this case in a manner that is both satisfying to my client and your office.
