However, the proposed facility is only for the use of campground guests. No offsite catering or commercial food preparation shall be allowed without a restaurant permit issued by the Virginia Department of Health. At this time the existing septic system is at maximum capacity. In order to add catering or commercial food preparation to serve additional guests, the septic system must be expanded or access to public sewer provided. This does not preclude the use of the pavilion for occasional "temporary events" that allow guests other than campground patrons. A temporary food permit must be obtained from the Health Department and an adequate number of portable toilets provided for any event of this nature. Christina M. The catering kitchen can be classified as use group F (Factory) in the IBC. Please not the requirements in the International Plumbing Code for a grease interceptor on the kitchen waste. Please note the requirements in Chapter 17 of BOCA for special inspection requirements on the type of structure.( Soils, concrete ect..) All required egress from the new structure shall be HC Accessible to min. exterior landing. Building addition shall be on an accessible route. HC parking shall not exceed 2% across the unloading area and min. 8' with 8' stripped Van Accessible space required. Please confirm max. 5% slope on accessible route from parking to building.
