As a owner/operator of a campground in Western Maryland for several years I'm very familiar with the amount of none goy erted aro,ndools, laonds, and Athletic fields. • Getting children to quite down, at a specified time is normally unachievable �- xper ience in the campground business also indicates that approxin lately 10% of the clientele will be destructive and vandais, Nuisances continued * Light Pollution Security Lights w-11 , Kn required 'D P U-01 * Pond e � W I d i 111 9 S * Walk-&V-vays .-Athletic Light's • BasketallCourt, • Sorccljer Field I • Simply Put this campground does not fit in with the local environment • The campground will stress the local infrastructure and services putting not only residents but campers at risk p • The aggravation to the local residents will be a constant problem for the county, VDOT, and sheriffs department • The risk the campground poses on the availabilityof clean water on neighboring g g wells �s a real concern • The potential risk of litigation if a camper is hurt on neighboring properties around horses, cattle on in the barns %ILIT lll1l![ai • The CUP process list several standards that must be met in order to approve: - Shall not tend to change the character and established pattern of development in the area. This surly does - Shall be in harmony with and shall not adversely affect the Use and Enjoyment of surrounding property. This is not in harmony with and will impact the use and enjoyment of surrounding property. - Shall not affect the natural character and environment of the county. It may be within the character and environment of the county but not within our community. - Only approved if adequate facilities, roads, drainage, and safe access are provided. Campground will stress the local infrastructure including Fire and Rescue, Roads, creating safety issues on both Route 602 and 600. Furthermore development will create potential drainage issues to the south of the property &TAM1l�glill[�� — Shall be in accordance with the Comprehensive Plan. Not sure whether it is or isn't — Shall conform to all applicable regulations.
