Please be advised that Gander Mountain has conducted traffic counts at six of their stores that are approximately the same size as the store planned for Winchester (57,300 square feet). They have found that their counts are very much in line with the trip generation rates for a specialty retail store from the 2003 ITE Trip Generation Reports. We assume that you have access to this report. If that is not the case, please let me know exactly what additional information you need from us. The addition of a traffic control light at the intersection of U.S. Route 11 and Commonwealth Drive is a requirement of the lease with Gander Mountain; thus making this project contingent upon the addition of this traffic control light.
