FREDERICK COUNTY BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS
The Board of Supe.rvisors of Frederick County, in regular meeting on the 12th day of
August, 2026, adopted the following: ·
WHEREAS, the streets described on the attached Form AM-4.3, fully incorporated herein
by reference, are shown on plats recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of
Frederick County; and
WHEREAS, the Resident Engineer of the Virginia Department of Transportation has
advised this Board that the streets meet the requirements established by the Secondal}'
Street Acceptance Requirements of the Virginia Dep.artment ofTransportatfon; and
WHEREAS, the County and the Virginia Department of Transportation have entered into
an agreement on June 9, 1993, for comprehensive stormwater detention which applies to
this request for addition; and
NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, this Board requests the Virginia Department
of Transportation to add the streets described in the attache.d Fonn AM-4.3 to the secondary
system of state highways, pursuant to 33.2-705, Code of Virginia, and the Department's
Secondary Street Acceptance Requirements; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, this Board guarantees a clear and unrestricted right-of-
way. as described. and any necessary easements for cuts.. fills and drainage; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to
the Resident Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation.
