Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairperson, Mrs. Jenny Myers.
Invocation
Pledge of Allegiance
Approval of March 10, 2026, Meeting Minutes
Mr. Stottlemyer moved to approve of the minutes as presented, second by Mr. Carter, approved (8-
0).
Adoption of Agenda
Mr. Carter moved to adopt the agenda as presented, second by Mr. Stottlemyer, approved (8-0).
Old Business
None
New Business
1. A motion to adopt the Portable Athletic Goal Policy (100.27) as presented with one change
for clarification was made by Mr. Sandy, seconded by Mr. Stottlemyer, carried unanimously

(8-0).
Monthly Reports
Staff provided reports on past and upcoming park projects, maintenance upgrades, recreation
programs, marketing, and special events.
Standing Committee Reports
Buildings and Grounds (April 7, 2026):
1. Mr. Carter made a motion to accept a funding opportunity to provide a dog park in Frederick
County at the Sherando Park, Warrior Drive entrance, seconded by Mr. Anderson, carried
unanimously (8-0).
Information Items
Stonewall representative to the Commission, Mrs. Jennifer Myers, is leaving the area at the end of
May and will not be eligible for reappointment. Interested residents are encouraged to apply online.
Adjournment
Mrs. Myers adjourned the meeting at 7:41p.m.
