FREDERICK COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27, 2024
6:00 P.M.

ATTENDEES
Board of Supervisors: Josh E. Ludwig, Chairman; Judith McCann-Slaughter, Vice
Chairman; Robert W. Wells; Blaine P. Dunn; Heather H. Lockridge; John F. Jewell; and Robert T.
Liero were present.
Staff present: Michael Bollhoefer, County Administrator; Jay E. Tibbs, Deputy County
Administrator; Roderick B. Williams, County Attorney; Karen Vacchio, Public Information Officer;
Jennifer Place, Risk Manager/Budget Analyst; Tonya Sibert, Commissioner of the Revenue; and
Patrick Fly, Assistant Director of Information Technologies.
Finance Committee: Mike Stottlemyer was present, Brandon Monk participated remotely,
and Dan Martin was absent.
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Ludwig called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
REMOTE PARTICIPATION AUTHORIZED
Remote participation was authorized for Finance Committee Member Brandon Monk for
personal travel reasons from Virginia Beach, Virginia, on the motion of Vice Chairman Slaughter,
seconded by Supervisor Lockridge which carried unanimously.
BUDGET DISCUSSIONS AS REQUESTED BY BOARD MEMBERS
County Administrator Bollhoefer began the review of questions received from various
members of the Board and the responses to those questions as provided by staff and the
Superintendent of FCPS.

WORK SESSION SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 3, 2024
By consensus, the Board agreed to meet on April 3, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. to continue the
discussion of the budget.
ADJOURN
At 6:44 p.m. the meeting was adjourned.
