The minutes of the last meeting held on the I2th day of July, 2948 were read and approved. REPORTS: EARL CATHER I. FRED STINE, JOHN WOLFE, MRS. A. W. WRIGHT, JOS. MASSIF, JR. HARRY L. McdANN AND B. D. FLEENER Reports of Earl Cather, Game Warden, I. Fred Stine, County C Agent, John Wolfe, Assistant County Agent, Mrs. A. W. Wright, Frederick County Tuberculsis Association, Harry L. McCann, County Treasurer and B. D. Fleener, resident Road Engineer were read and approved. / HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT ROUTE 644 I Mr. Marchant, Right of Way engineer for the State Highway Department and made a report on route No. # 644 and requested this Board to adopt the following Resolution and upon motion of Grover Teets and seconded by Ellsworth Dodson the following resolution was adopted. WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County on ugust 9, 1948 passed a resolution guaranteeing the right of way for Secondary Rt. 644, project 1393-FB2, in Frederick County, and WHEREAS, reports dated June 25, 19481 July 139 1948, and August 5, 1948, have been made by A. S. Mattox, Assoc. Right of Way Engineer, of the Virginia Department of Highways, to Mr. A. H. Pettigrew, Right of Way Engineer, covering right of way negotiations for this project, and WHEREAS, it appears that satisfactory agreement cannot be reached with Emmett L. Henry, et als, on this project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this Board hreby requests the Department of Highways, Commonwealth of Virginia, to take any necessary Court action required to vest title to this right of way or any other parcel on which agreement cannot be made, in the Commonwealth. It is further understood that the cost incidentals to the clearing of this right of way is to be paid from other Secondary Funds appropriated to Frederick County. The County Treasurer, Harry L. McCann, presented to the Board the list of Delinquent Personal Property for the Tax year of 1947 of June 30, 1948 in the amount of $1724.16 and also the Delinquent Real Estate list for the Tax Year of 1947 as of June 30, 1948 in the amount of $3)1 the total being $5,035.62 which upon motion duly seconded was unanimously approved. BILLS APPROVED Accounts totaling $3,272.86 were approved and ordered to be paid from the General County Fund by Warrants numbers'10923 II049 inclusive and Livestock and Fowl Calims and Earl Cgther's Salary totaling $262.40 were appaved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by warrants numbers 995 to 997 inclusive.
