MCCANN, JANE GOSS AND JOS. A. MASSIE The reports of Earl Cather, Game Warden, Robert L. DeHaven, Sheriff, Agnes Shirley, Home Demonstration Agent, I. Fred Stine, County Agent, E. S. Bailey, Commissioner of Revenue, Harry L. McCann, Treasurere, Jane Goss, Public Welfare and Jos. A. Massie, Commonwealth's Attorney, were read and approved. BOB CATS Upon motion, duly seconded, it is ordered that Benj. R. Anderson, John Martin, H. 6 . Barr and J. W. McDaniel be paid by the Treasurer Five Dollars each for killing Bob Cats. ERRONEOUS ASSESSMENT Upon motion of H. M. Fout and seconded by G. W. Lemley the court order recorded in Law Order Book No. 25 at page 383. Corrected assessment of J. S. Beeler and others was approved. ERRONEOUS ASSESSMENT Upon motion duly seconded it is unanimously ordered that the Treasurer refund J. S. Beeler from the General County Fund, the amount of $77.77 for over assessment of taxes for the tax year of 1945 as per Court Order recorded in Law Order Book No. 25, page 383. RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF FREDERICK COUNTY, VIRGINIA TO REPURCHASE COUNTY POOR FARM CEMETERY WHEREAS the County of Frederick, Virginia, and the City of Winchester, Virginia, were joint owners of the Frederick County Poor Farm; and WHEREAS by proper procedure the County of Frederick and the City of Winchester, Virginia, sold said County Poor Farm at public auction in the City of Winchester, Virginia, to Boyd V. Unger, the highest bidder, and that said sale has been approved, ratified, and confirmed; and, WHEREAS included in the sale of said County Poor farm was the County Poor Farm Cemetery; and, WHEREAS the County of Frederick desires to repurchase the said Poor Farm Cemetery and extra adjoining land from Boyd V. Unger and Pearl Unger, his wife, and the said Boyd V. Unger is willing to sell to the County of Frederick the laid Poor Farm Cemetery and extra adjoining land, provided that the County of Frederick clean up said Cemetery once a year, NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the County of Frederick purchase from Boyd V. Unger the Poor Farm Cemetery and extra Adjoining land that was conveyed to the said Boyd V. Unger by the County of Frederick on the 28th day of January, 1947, and the City of Winchester; And be it further resolved that the said County of Frederic] clean up said Poor Farm Cemetery once a year; And be it further resolved that the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Frederick County is hereby authorized to sign said deed on behalf of the 3�� County of Frederick, Virginia, and that the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Frederic County be authorized to attach the seal of the County of Frederick to said deed and to attest the same. This resolution is hereby unaminously adopted by the ward of Supervisors of Frederick County, Virginia, this 8th day of December, I947. PURCHASE OF LAND FROM B. V. UNGER Upon motion and duly seconded it is ordered that the Treasurer pay B. V. Unger out of the General County Fund the sum of $250.00 in payment for gg a certain tract of land as recorded in the Frederick County Clerk's Office in Dee cl D up No. 203 at page 4II and also the sum of $175.00 to B. V. Unger in payment for fencing/the said tract of land. BILLS APPROVED ACCOUNTS TOTALING $3,792.5 were approved and ordered to be pAid from the General County Fund by warrants numbers 10580 to 10630 inclusive and Livestock, Fowl and bounty claims and Earl Cather's salary totaling $4I4. 64 were appoved and ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by Warrants numbers 938 to 951 inclusive.
