District Road Engineer Earl Bailey, Commissioner of Revenue, were read and approved.
ROADS

R EMER ROAD
Upon motion of H. C. Light and seconded by G. W. Lemley this Board
recommends that the State Highway Commission include in the Secondary.Road System the
Renner Road from route 50 -060 ml West W.C.L. Winchester in a Northernly direction for a
distance of 1070 feet. This Board guarantees a thirty foot unrestricted right of way.
RITENOUA 909
Upon motion of H. C. Light and Seconded by G. W. Lemley, this Boar
recommends that the State Highway Commission include in the Secondary Road System the
Ritenour Road know as Brindles Lane beginning at the New Town run bridge in Double
Churches- Highview road no 640 and running in a westernly direction for a distance of .35
of a mile. This Board guarantees a thirty foot unrestricted right of way.
PAPER MILL ROAD Upon motion of William Carpenter and seconded by G. W. Lemley,..the
following Resolution was unanimously adopted:
RESOLVED That the Virginia State Highway Commission be and it is
hereby requested to apply to the proper authority to have Route 644 from its intersection
with Route 522 to the City of Winchester included in the Secondary Federal Aid System for
Frederick County, Virginia, and, if to program a construction project for the
improvement of said Route and.submit same to this board for approval or such other action
as the said Commission shall deem necessary.
BOB CAT
Upon motion, duly seconded, it is ordered that R. W. Baker be paid
by the Treasurer, Five ($5.00) Dollars for killing one Bob Cat.

Upon motion it was unanimously ordered that beginning November the
first, 1947 and during each month of the year, that the Board of Supervisors reimburse
the Game and Fish Protective Association for bounties paid by the Association on all Foxe
legally killed within the boundaries of Frederick County on a fifty -fifty basis of which

the County share is one dollar for each fox killed.
PUBLIC VELFARE
Upon motion of G. W: Lemley and seconded by H. M. Fout, and upon
request of the Board of Public Welfare, it is ordered that the Treasurer transfer $100.00
to the Public Welfare Fund for the care of Foster children.
BILLS APPROVED
Accounts totaling $4258.91 were approved and ordered to be paid from
the General County Fund by warrants numbers 10358 to 10403 inclusive and Livestock an d
Fowl claims and Earl Cather's salary totaling $352.50 were approved and ordered to be
paid from the Dog Fund by warrants numbers 918 to 928 inclusive.
It is ordered that the Board do now adjourn.

REIMBURSEMENT - EXPENSES
Upon motion, duly seconded, it is'ordered that Charles M. Rosenberger
be paid the amount of $I4.40 to reinburse him for expenses incurred in attending the
District Road meeting which was held to Lexington, Va., on thelo -jJday of October, 1947.
BILLS APPROVED
Accounts totaling 3739.98 were approved and ordered to be paid
from the General County Fund by warrants numbers 10404 to I0579 inclusive and Livestock
and Earl Cather's salary totaling $160.32 were ordered to be paid from the Dog Fund by
warrants numbers 929 to 937 inclusive.
It is ordered that the Board do now adjourn.
