HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC_05-06-65_Meeting_MinutesMinutes of Meeting Held May 6, 1965 At the Special Meeting of the Frederick County Planning Commission held in the Supervisor's Room over the Frederick County Clerk's Office on the 6th day of May, 1965 PRESENT: Joseph A. Massie, Jr., C. W. Franks, Clyde Heishman, Thomas E. Hassan, Elmer Venskoske, and B. 0. Brumback. Upon motion of Thomas E. Hassen and seconded by Clyde Heishman a resolution was made to accept the application of W. W. Hunt for variance to the Zoning Ordinance as advertised. The motion was carried. Upon motion of Thomas E. Hassen and seconded Y Clyde Heishman a resolution was passed that the use of �he Charles Pine lot be changed to commercial as follows: For use as a Motel, Restaurant or automobile service station or both. Upon motion of Elmer Venskoske and seconded by Thomas Hassen, Be it resolved that the use of the Glaize and Butler land be changed to commercial as follows: For use as a Motel, Restaurant or automobile service station or both. Upon motion of Thomas Hassen and seconded by Elmer Venskoske, Be it resolved that the use of the Cloverdale Farms, Inc., etc containing twenty acres be changed to WA Commercial as follows: For use as a Motel, Restaurant combination or automobile service station any one or all three. I I Minutes of Meeting Held May 6, 1965 II — Continued Mr. Marks appeared before the Planning Commission and discussed the building of Town Houses units and the County Zoning Ordinances of Frederick County, Virginia. The meeting3 were set to consider zoning ordinance on May 26, 1965, at 2:00 P.M. and the second meeting to be held on June 9, 1965 at 2:00 P.M. Upon motion of Thomas E. Hassen and seconded by Clyde Heishman a resolution was passed to reccommend the subdivision ordinance to supervisor's for approval. Respectfully submitted, Ge a B. Whitacre Secretary z. I I
