HRAB 05-15-12 Meeting MinutesFrederick County Historic Resources Advisory Board (HRAB) May 15, 2012 Board of Supervisors Executive Session Room of the County Administrative building 107 North Kent Street Winchester, VA Minutes Adopted Members Present: Stacey Yost, Lauren Murphy, Clint Jones, Elizabeth Fravel, Mary Turner, Robert Hess, Gary Oates Members Absent: Rhoda Kriz (Chairman), Claus Bader, Denny Perry, Maral Kalbian Staff Present: Candice E. Perkins Agenda Items: Amended HRAB Bylaws, Historic Property Designation (Plaque) Application for the White Hall United Methodist Church Call to order at 6:30 PM. Item One: Planner Perkins introduced the first agenda item which was proposed Changes to the HRAB Bylaws. The HRAB had previously discussed changes to the bylaws in 2011 and requested that the changes be adopted at next meeting (May 2012). The changes included changing the meeting time from 6:30pm to 6:00pm, and a change to state that the HRAB may have training annual training sessions (instead of shall). The HRAB agreed with the changes and voted to approve the amended bylaws. Item Two: Planner Perkins introduced the first agenda item which a Historic Property Designation (Plaque) Application for the White Hall United Methodist Church. The HRAB agreed that the subject property was historic and eligible to receive a plaque. The Board by unanimous vote to approved the plaque application. Meeting was adjourned at 7:00p.m.
