The board discussed each of the new submission requirements and some of the informwi6nwas consolidated to - make it more streamlined II was brought up that there needs to be a distance radius for HRAB submissions. The HRAB then went over ideas to do site inspections of properties that they want to be proactive in preserving. These inspections would pick out certain places and sites and work towards identifying their economic advantages to make the idea of preserving them more attractive to owners. These inspections would include press. A committee will also be formed to work on revising the Plaque Program. Site inspections need to be performed on the properties that have already been given plaques to see if they are being displayed. This committee will be formed when the HRAB has a full membership. These meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. in the Executive Sessions Room in the Board of Supervisors Room on the first floor of the Frederick County Administration Building at 107 North Kent Street. The deadline for all HRAB meetings is approximately three weeks prior to the scheduled meeting date. To verify meeting dates and deadlines or for questions, please call 540-665-5651. Please submit all applications to the Department of Planning and Development, 107 North Kent Street, Suite 202, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
