1. Maral will show some slides of structures which she has
documented during her survey of the county.
2. The staff would recommend that the HRAB consider setting some
preliminary limit on the number of sites to be added to the list
of potential sites for county recognition. Once this limit is
reached the board can begin work on justifying the inclusion of the
various sites. This might be done by establishing categories and
then arranging the list in accordance with the categories.
Categories might be structured in terms of such things as
architectural styles, time periods, or relationship to certain
events.
Whatever method is used, it will become important to have a written
statement in relation to each site specifying why it is included
among sites to be recognized as historically significant.
3. The board can continue its work on the list of potential sites
for county recognition as historically significant.
