CPPC 05-08-06 Meeting MinutesNotes of CPPS Meeting May 8, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
Item 1 Urban Development Area (UDA) Study — UDA Boundaries & Sewer and Water
Service Area (SWSA) Boundaries
Deputy Director Mike Ruddy reminded the group that this item had already been considered at a
joint work session of the BOS/PC/CPPS on January 17, 2006. The intent is to make the
boundaries match the land use plan.
A discussion of owner notification followed. Member Golladay was particularly concerned with
owners who had asked to be placed in the UDA. Deputy Director Ruddy did not believe that any
properties were in this category. Member Mohn was concerned with land owners who had plans
in the works that were made with the good faith belief that they were in the UDA/SWSA.
Deputy Director Ruddy responded that a comprehensive notification would take place.
The CPPS was asked to give a recommendation on each boundary adjustment.
