Wyatt, Deputy Director W RE: September Meeting and Agenda DATE: September 8, 1998 The Frederick County Comprehensive Plans and Programs Subcommittee (CPPS) will be meeting on Monday, September 14, 1998 at 7:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room of the County Administration Building, 107 North Kent Street; Winchester, Virginia. The CPPS will discuss the following agenda items: AGENDA I. Discussion regarding public information meetings for the Southern Frederick Land Use Study. II. Other. Please note that the parking lot located behind the County Administration Building will be closed until October due to reconstruction activities; therefore, I would encourage committee members to park in the Joint Judicial Center parking lot and follow the sidewalk to the back door of the four-story wing. Access to the County Administration Building for night meetings that do not occur in the Board room will be limited to the back door of the four-story wing of the County Administration Building. WPO 107 North Kent Street - Winchester, Virginia 22601-5000 ITEM # 1 SOUTHERN FREDERICK LAND USE PLAN PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETINGS Staff will present information to the committee regarding the format for the public information meetings that will be held in October. During this discussion, staff will work with the committee to determine assignments and responsibilities, as well as present issues that will be communicated by the facilitators. The public information meetings are scheduled in two hour blocks. Staff envisions utilizing the first hour to conduct a presentation of the study area and to conduct a question and answer period. The final hour will be dedicated for independent review of displays and one-on-one discussions between the general public and facilitators. Staff has reserved space at three locations for the public information meetings. Please review the following dates and times for these meetings to determine which session best suits your schedule. October 5, 1998: Tri -County OIC 444 Shady Elm Road 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. October 10, 1998: Youth Development Center Gerald E.
